APPRENTICE CAR PANEL BEATER / VEHICLE BODY REPAIRER

 

Belturbet Car Sales, Cavan, a Family run business with over 50 years’ experience are a certified Bodyshop, Car Service & Repair Centre are currently looking for an Apprentice Panel Beater /Vehicle Body Repairer to join our team.

Candidates must have a passion for cars and a keen eye for detail and be able to complete tasks to a high standard whilst working as part of a team.

Full time position, with immediate start and full training provided, leading to full qualification.

Responsibilities:

  • Stripping damaged vehicles
  • Preparing surfaces for painting and preparing vehicles for repair work
  • Repairing and replace damaged vehicle panels/scratches to the highest standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with established Job Card procedures.
  • Use welding equipment to repair damaged metal parts.
  • Communicating all potential issues in advance to the Manager/Supervisor.
  • Ensuring compliance with safe working/operating practices.

    Requirements:

  • You will be diligent and work well under pressure.
  • Be able to work to high standards and be highly motivated to learn.
  • Have a passion for cars with great attention to detail.
  • Be able to work well as part of a team.
  • You are required to have a full clean driver's licence.
  • Fluent English
