Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chefs to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role offers an opportunity to showcase leadership skills, oversee food production, and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality are maintained. The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising kitchen staff, managing food service operations, and contributing to menu development in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
- Oversee daily food production, ensuring consistency and quality in all dishes
- Prepare a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Manage kitchen operations, including stock control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness
- Enforce strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Collaborate with management on menu planning, special events, and new dish development
- Ensure excellent customer service by supporting serving staff when required
- Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance and report any issues promptly
Experience
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant/bar or hospitality setting
- Supervising experience in a culinary or food service context is highly desirable
- Strong background in food production, food safety practices, and culinary techniques
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and presentation standards
- Experience in managing kitchen operations, including stock control and hygiene compliance
- Familiarity with restaurant service procedures and customer interaction is advantageous
