We invite applications for the following posts:
Classroom Assistant(s) Classroom Assistants (SENCA)
•5 positions x 32.5 hours per week (permanent with the option of a 52 week contract)
•1 position x 30 hours per week (maternity cover, immediate start until 10th June 2026)
Classroom Assistant (SENCA) NJC pts 11 - 14
Essential Criteria (for all Classroom Assistants)
•Applicants must have a minimum of 5 GCSE’s Grades A* - C or equivalent qualifications to include English and Mathematics.
•Applicants must hold a minimum of a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in a relevant area from a recognised accredited awarding body and a minimum of 6 weeks experience in a formal learning environment as either placement or employment OR Have a minimum of 12 months experience working in a formal learning environment.
Desirable Criteria (for all Classroom Assistants)
•It is desirable that applicants have experience of working with children with special needs in a post primary setting providing in classroom learning support.
