As Mannok continues to expand, the company is recruiting HGV Drivers to join its growing transport team.

The Role

As an HGV Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of Mannok products to customers and agreed locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely deliver goods on time and in accordance with customer requirements.
• Comply fully with UK and Irish road traffic laws and regulations.
• Follow tachograph requirements and drivers' hours regulations.
• Comply with speed limits, road signs and all other relevant driving regulations.
• Ensure all delivery documentation is completed, signed and returned to the company.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety and maintenance checks.
• Ensure the vehicle remains clean, tidy and roadworthy at all times.
• Follow company health and safety procedures.
• Ensure loads are transported safely and securely.
• Provide a professional and efficient service to customers.
• Report any vehicle defects, incidents or operational issues promptly.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must:

• Hold a clean Class C+E HGV driving licence.
• Have successfully completed the required Driver CPC training.
• Have previous HGV driving experience.
• Have a good understanding of road safety and health and safety procedures.
• Have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Be reliable, responsible and safety-conscious.
• Have a flexible approach to working hours and operational requirements.

Working Pattern

The normal working week is Monday to Friday. Drivers must be willing to work early mornings and evenings when required.

Occasional:

• Overnight stays/night-out work
• Weekend work
• Additional hours to meet operational requirements

may be required.
