Job Title: Support and Project Workers
Location: Various locations across the UK
Shift Patterns: Various shift patterns available per week
Role Overview: As a Support and Project Worker, you will play a key role in supporting individuals with mental ill health, intellectual disabilities, autism, and addictions. Your primary responsibility will be to offer practical and emotional support tailored to the individual needs of each person, helping them live fulfilling and independent lives. You will be part of a team that works collaboratively to support people in their journey towards realising their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centred support to individuals with mental ill health, intellectual disabilities, autism, and addictions.
- Assist in creating and implementing individual care and support plans.
- Build positive and supportive relationships with individuals, promoting their self-worth and dignity.
- Support individuals to set and achieve personal goals, encouraging independence and self-determination.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, mobility, social activities, and access to community resources.
- Promote social inclusion and challenge stigma related to mental health, disabilities, and addiction.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals and support services to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to continually improve your skills and knowledge.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

- A determined and proactive approach to helping individuals achieve their full potential.
- Previous experience in health and social care is beneficial, but not essential. We are keen to hear from those new to the sector, and we offer full training and support.
- Flexibility to work across various shift patterns, including evenings and weekends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
