At Ballyconnell Dental Surgery in Cavan, we welcome all our existing and prospective clients to our newly renovated and state-of-the-art Surgery which offers modern radiography for improved diagnosis and communication. We have a fully integrated and networked computer system. We utilize intraoral and digital photography so our patients can better visualize their cosmetic and general dental needs.

You can trust us to make your visit comfortable and to be focused on you. Our interior designer created a space where the atmosphere is very much relaxed and comfortable and the staff welcoming. About Us

Ballyconnell dental surgery was opened initially in 2001 as a single surgery practice in the Realta centre by Dr Roisin McCorry. In 2003 Due to the increase in patients numbers the practice relocated to a larger premises on the main street in Ballyconnell.

Our dental surgery is conveniently located close to Northern Ireland and also borders with counties Longford and Leitrim. We accept private patients and patients that hold a medical card or prsi. We are compliable with many insurance schemes including vhi and hold med 2 forms for those who are self employed.

 

What We Do

Ballyconnell Dental Surgery provides routine dental treatment such as examinations, restorations, root canal therapy and extractions.

We have a special interest in cosmetic dentistry such as crowns, veneers, implants and bleaching.

At Ballyconnell Dental Surgery, we do removable dentures and offer denture stabilisation with dental implants for patients who have difficulty with loose dentures.

 

Our People

We have a large team of three dentists, a hygienist, four nurses and two receptionists. Dr Roisin McCorry is the principal dentist with over 18 years experience, her husband Dr Aiden Malanaphy specialises in implantology and has been practising for over 25 years. Dr Niamh Scanlon graduated in 2011 from University College Cork. Our hygienist Kathleen Heaslip treats all our patients who have gum disease as well as children in the practice who require preventative fissure sealants and oral hygiene instruction.
