Tara Centre Omagh

Description

Counselling / Pyschotherapy

The ethos of the Tara Centre is one of reverence and respect for life, compassion for pain and suffering, and a conviction that what hurts can heal. A holistic approach is adopted whereby the physical, emotional, intellectual, volitional and spiritual dimensions of the person are honoured and nourished.

Art Therapy

Art Therapy is a form of therapy in which the making of visual images (paintings, drawings, models, etc.) in the presence of an Art Therapist contributes towards externalisation of thoughts and feelings which may otherwise remain unexpressed.

Meditation – A Way of Life

Ever since the Tara Centre opened in June 1996, the practice of meditation as part and parcel of everyday life has been facilitated as a “user-friendly” approach to deepen an awareness of the Source of all life that lies deep within the heart/soul of each person and within all life forms.

Yoga

Yoga is a very old tradition which has much to offer in today’s world. It focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing.
